The long time owner and licensee, has decided to call last orders
after a very successful career at this popular and well known inn which had purchased the pub in the early sixties and it has remained in the family
ever since has been at the helm for the majority of the family's ownership.

Trust estate with extensive views over the beautiful River Tamar and Tamar Valley.
The inn is situated within a mile of the National Trust's Cotehele House and
about three miles from St Mellion Golf Club. Plymouth, Tavistock, Liskeard and
Saltash are all within a short drive from the inn which is also about 25 miles
from the Eden Project.
The property is reputed to have been first licensed in 1841 and is believed
to be one of only seven pubs in the country with the same name. Over the 40
years, the family have collected a fascinating selection of original furniture
and memorabilia that compliment the large oak beamed trading areas, creating
a warm and welcoming ambience.
The inn has a total of five main trading areas including three bars, a main
dining area (70 covers) and a family conservatory (36 covers). There is a fully
