The Eastcliff Cafe is situated on the main Teignmouth beach, at the end of Den Promenade and at the start of Eastcliff Walk. The cafe enjoys a lovely sunny aspect, with 180 degree views out to sea, looking eastwards towards the Jurassic Coast and towards Torbay to the west. Teignmouth town centre is only a short walk from the cafe and there is plenty of parking at Eastcliff car park, just a few hundred yards over the railway bridge.
Teignmouth is a thriving holiday resort situated 7 miles north of Torquay and 3 miles south of Dawlish. The city of Exeter is approximately 15 miles north of Teignmouth, with excellent transport links including an international airport and the M5 Motorway.
The Eastcliff Cafe comprises a main single storey chalet unit overlooking the beach and seaside, which has been extended to one elevation. It also has a storage room attached to the premises, together with the use of a bin store. There is a sheltered seating area to the western side of the building, with seating for circa 35/40. To the lower level is another seating area with room for circa 40 covers within the designated balustrade area, overlooking the sea.
