Cappello occupies a prominent position in the busy and well regarded district of St Marychurch, Torquay. St Marychurch is a popular part of town and is situated less than half a mile from the sea and less than a mile from Torquay town centre. St Marychurch is recognised as one of Torquay’s most desirable residential and commercial locations, with a fine mix of privately owned shops, attractive pedestrianised precinct and tourist attractions including the Model Village, the Cliff Railway, Babbacombe Downs and Bygones Victorian Museum. The holiday district of Babbacombe is a 5 minute walk from St Marychurch and both areas swell during the summer months with the influx of tourists to The English Riviera (Torquay, Paignton & Brixham).
Cappello is a versatile catering lock up unit occupying the ground floor of a three storey Tudor style building. The restaurant currently offers authentic Roman cuisine and has built up an excellent reputation; however the premises would lend themselves to all styles of catering including a wine bar. The current owners choose to trade for only 4 evenings a week, Wednesday through to Saturday, therefore offering huge potential to expand into the morning coffee and lunchtime trade. The restaurant spaciously seats 36 however this could easily be increased to 40 plus.
