Man Fridays Lobster House is located on Victoria Parade overlooking Torquay’s inner harbour, which is situated between the town centre and Beacon Quay forming part of the outer harbour. The inner harbour area has a vibrant feel and has benefitted from continued investment over the last decade or so, re-establishing this part of the town as the heart of Torquay with many independent retail and catering businesses. Thus, this area receives a huge amount of passing trade from the many visitors and is also extremely popular with the locals.

Man Fridays Lobster House is a family owned business and has been established for over 30 years. Occupying the first floor of an end of terrace building directly on Torquay harbour side allows the restaurant to have superb views across the Harbour and the Bay complemented in the evening with the lights from the Harbour Bridge and the Big Wheel. Man Fridays is a renowned seafood restaurant registered with the Marine Management Organisation thus enabling the owners to source their catch from the local Torquay fishing fleet meaning they offer the freshest fish and shellfish and guaranteeing it is from a sustainable source. Man Fridays steak is sourced from Churston and the wines are purchased from local vineyards. Where possible the owners endeavour to use locally sourced produce. The restaurant is operating on limited hours due to the owners wish to retire, opening Friday and Saturday evenings only. This therefore offers the next operator the opportunity to extensively expand the trading times and therefore the turnover of the business.
