Seale Hayne is located just 3 miles from Newton Abbot. The Campus is located off Howton Lane accessed via the pretty village of Highweek.

The A38 linking to Exeter and the M5, Plymouth and Cornwall is only a short drive away.

Seale Hayne sits on a 69-acre site which includes the Grade II Listed Quadrangle, 12 further buildings and ancillary accommodation including commercial office accommodation. The site has been regenerated as a Business Park and is home to circa 100 businesses employing 400 staff, 3 special learning schools, 3 regular schools with 200 staff & teaches and 600 pupils. The Hydrohub employs 10-12 staff receiving between 100-200 visitors per day.

Seale Hayne began life in 1914 as the only purposed built agricultural college in the UK, however its opening was postponed due to the start of First World War during which Seale Hayne operated as a military neurasthenic hospital for the treatment of soldiers suffering from shell shock. The agricultural College closed in 2005 and from that point the site was used by Dame Hannah Rogers Trust providing education, therapy, care and respite for children and young people with profound physical disabilities until closing in 2019 when the site was regenerated in its current form.

The owners of the site are looking to create a high quality ‘destination’ restaurant within the stunning Quadrangle. This fantastic opportunity is available to experienced, creative caterers looking to offer the discerning customer quality, exciting cuisine. The owners would also support the creation of a Chef Academy with trainees being trained and work in the Restaurant. Interested parties will be asked to provide a business plan, references and C.V. The owners will work closely with the successful tenant to create a commercial kitchen space with rent incentives negotiable.
