South Pool is one of the most charming, sought after villages in the South Hams. It lies at the head of the beautiful Creek, navigable for a few hours around high tide to the rest of Salcombe Estuary. The picturesque village has a 13th Century Church and a lively local community. The market town of Kingsbridge, which is the centre for this part of the South Hams, provides a good range of shopping and other amenities. Salcombe, renowned for its sailing, the beauty of its Estuary and its fine sandy beaches, is just a short boat trip away when tide permits. The area surrounded by beautiful beaches with Millbay Beach being only three miles away. There is limitless walking in several quaint villages surrounding the Pub. Directions: From Kingsbridge. take the A379 towards Dartmouth passing through the villages of West and East Charleton and continue until the village of Frogmore. Turn right over the bridge towards North and South Pool. The Pub is approximately one and a half miles from the bridge.


The Millbrook Inn is a quaint 16th Century two storey Inn with whitewashed elevations under a pitched slate roof. The windows and timber fencing have been painted in a pretty duck egg blue colour. The property sits in the centre of the village and backs onto the Brook, with the Salcombe Estuary creek being only a few hundred yards away over at the bottom of the village.
